AndroidIn development

wakeharder.

The alarm you cannot sleep through.

wakeharder only disarms after you prove you are awake: solve a math problem, or get out of bed and scan a barcode you registered across the room. An open-source take on task-based alarms for Android, with no ads and no account.

Features

Task-gated dismissal

The stop button is earned. Math challenges are next up; barcode and QR scanning follow.

Actually wakes you

Full-screen ring over the lock screen with sound and vibration, via a proper full-screen intent.

Survives reboots

Alarms re-arm themselves after a restart, so a dying phone does not silence tomorrow.

Reliability roadmap

Battery-optimization exemption, a watchdog re-arm and capped snooze are staged next.

Native and modern

Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, minSdk 29. Small, readable codebase.

Free forever

MIT licensed. No ads, no subscription, no upsell screens at 6 AM.

Quickstart

git clone https://github.com/jay739/wakeharder && cd wakeharder
